Some things I learned this summer as I turned 77!
I thought these were true and pretty cute!
Its important to have a twinkle in your wrinkle!
You can't help getting older, but you don't have to get old!
...and having spent the week with my high energy, almost 16 year old grandson, tonight I am definitely feeling old....and a little out of touch, as I watch his fingers flying over the cell phone texting. I have to wonder what happened to conversation?????

And what a grand return it is!! I love the humor.
Mostly I appreciate your spunk and moxy ... commodities we kids of 61 (and younger) are going to benefit from in the days to come.
Welcome home!
Kathleen

These were good...paricularly "If you don't mine, it doesn't matter!" I need to remember that one too.
I also love your new blog template! Hope you're having a good summer.
Hello, sweet friend! Welcome back!
Too funny... you wrote a post on your blog... and I am the one making cards today!
Hi Joan - and Happy Birthday!!
I just noticed your follow-up comment re: iPhoto, and I wanted to clarify that I store all of my pictures on iPhoto, also. But when it comes time to upload them to my blog, I use the internet program Flickr. I will upload whatever pictures I want to post to Flickr, and then copy and paste the code in to the blogger photo link (you know what I mean?) and then, once I press "DONE" - voila! nice big pictures.
I hope that helps. Also, I don't know what it is with kids these days and texting. My friend recently told me that she received a bill that showed her 16-year old daughter had sent out 3700 text messages in a single month. Since I've sent out about 37 in my ENTIRE LIFE, I just can't wrap my mind around that...
Best wishes for a healthy, happy, blessed 77th year!!
Oh YIPPEE SKIPPEE!
I am so happy you are back in the blog-saddle again Joan. I've missed you.
Happy Sweet 77th Birthday!
...and I'm sure you have a twinkle in your wrinkle! I have a few in mine too!!!
HUGS!
Oh Joan... I loved it.. every little bit of it!!
You add so much to my life... I wish I could really reach out and give you a great big hug!!
Love you, Sweet Sister!!
