I just had to wish you all a Merry Christmas

As we read the words below and contemplate what they really mean, it is overwhelming!  Wish I had the ability to have the song play along with it, but alas, that is something I have not learned to do.

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will one day walk on water?

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?

Did you know
That your baby boy has come to make you new?

This child that you've delivered
 Will soon deliver you.

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will calm a storm with His hand?

Did you know
That your baby boy has walked where angels trod?

And when you kiss your little baby
You've kissed the face of God.

The blind will see
The deaf will hear
The dead will live again
The lame will leap
The dumb will speak
The praises of The Lamb

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy is Lord of all creation?

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will one day rule the nations?

Did you know
That your baby boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?

This sleeping child you're holding is the Great I Am

May the true joy of Christmas
be with you throughout the year.

I love that song. Thanks for posting it.
I'm going to miss your blog.
This year, I'm going to try to get back to blogging about my China Childhood memories. I have a story now, but need a picture to illustrate it....so will work on that.
I hope I hear from you occasionally.
Blessings in 2010. Hope you're feeling better by now.
Hugs, Ruthie

I've always loved that song!

I so appreciate the nice comment you left for me. I don't know if you saw my comment back, but I totally agree. The longer you can keep little ones at home, the more you can infuse your values in to them. I don’t want to completely shelter our children – I just don’t want to send these incredibly impressionable little people in to a world where I have no control.

Huh. I guess that’s totally sheltering them? OK. So maybe I want to shelter them a little bit longer. Maybe 5 years?

Thanks again for validating something I feel very strongly in my heart!!
